Our Cats

Since we were founded in 1978, PDQ Press has been home to a rotating cast of feline friends. From Helvetica, Ampersand, Goudy and WYSIWYG in years past, to our two current companions, Tiffany and Jpeg, our cats provide quality control and customer service, watching over all of our processes and projects.

After all, they are at the shop more than anyone, so they know when things are going right. Tiffany and Jpeg are perfect customer service representatives too. From mewing their approval to lovingly rubbing against a customer's leg, their method of expressing approval and making customers feel welcome is better than any human effort.

Not to mention, while our human resources policies necessitate interviews and training, our feline resources are acquired from local animal shelters, giving a good (and productive) home to cats who need it most.
